Aptos Joins BNB Chain on Its Mission to Onboard the First 1 Billion Users to Crypto

The BNB Chain Dev Community is excited to announce that Aptos, a highly secure and scalable Layer 1 blockchain, will join BNB Chain's mission to onboard the first 1 billion users to crypto across various applications, including social media, gaming, and more. BNB Chain and Aptos join forces to build a secure, interoperable, and unified cross-chain and multi-chain liquidity infrastructure to empower mass adoption and provide users with a seamless blockchain experience.

The combined efforts of these two L1 blockchains will accelerate technological and business innovation and the development of new large-scale Web2 use cases. They will focus on technology, infrastructure, marketing, community participation, and bridging and supporting liquidity between the two chains. Last but not least, high-performance EVM standards and innovative use cases, such as SocialFi from Aptos (Social Media) to BNBChain (DeFi), are also high on the list of tasks.

In addition to this, BNB Chain and Aptos will form a security alliance as part of their commitment to security as the number one priority. BNB Chain ecosystem partners will jointly build these two ecosystems; for example, Blockorus, a one-stop infrastructure & solution provider for the high-speed blockchain era, will serve as one of Aptos's infrastructure partners. The two blockchains will co-organize several events to support the Web3 vision, interoperability, and mainstream adoption of blockchain on a worldwide scale.

BNB Chain and Aptos will also bolster each other's network by launching and operating a full validator node on their partner's blockchain – Aptos will deploy a BNB Chain validator and BNB Chain Dev Community will deploy their validator on Aptos.

To recap everything we said above, Aptos and BNB Chain will work together to enable a seamless user experience for both blockchains by integrating cross-chain functionality and stablecoin support (BUSD on Aptos), wallet interoperability, and bridging.
