BNB Chain Announces Program List and Snapshot Time For Airdrop Alliance Program

19 March, 2024 – BNB Chain, the community-driven blockchain ecosystem that includes the world’s largest smart contract blockchain, today announced the eagerly awaited details of its recently launched "Airdrop Alliance Program." The newly disclosed details include the first batch of projects in the Alliance Program list, along with the designated ‘snapshot time’ for retroactive users of BSC (BNB Smart Chain) and opBNB.

Last week BNB Chain unveiled its Airdrop Alliance as a strategic initiative to increase awareness surrounding the airdrop plans from top-tier BNB Chain projects, while encouraging active involvement from community members. The projects that have joined the Airdrop Alliance Program will gradually announce airdrop details. Users are advised to stay abreast of further developments as additional details are released. Participating members include:

• Ultiverse - Crafting AI-driven gaming worlds beyond imagination with VR and NFTs
• Web3Go - Data intelligence Network
• KiloEx - Next generation of user-friendly perpetual DEX on BNB Chain
• GombleGames - Strategic casual game studio
• Cellula - Fully on-chain autonomous life simulation strategy game offering composability
• StarryNift - Co-creation metaverse platform, bringing immersive 3D virtual experience to play, create and socialize
• zkPass - Liberating zero-knowledge attestation of web private data using 3P-TLS and affordable hybrid ZK

In addition to the program roster, BNB Chain has announced the snapshot time for the Airdrop Alliance Program which encompasses retroactive users of BSC and opBNB as: 

• 8AM UTC on August 1, 2023 to 8 AM UTC on March 19, 2024

The criteria that users must have fulfilled to be qualify for the airdrop during the snapshot time will be announced on the BNB Chain website soon.

The launch announcement from last week of the program rewarding retroactive BSC and opBNB users garnered excitement and was met with enthusiasm within the community. BNB Chain’s layer 1 (L1), BSC, serves as a DeFi hub renowned for its mature infrastructure, vibrant community, efficiency, speed, and low transaction costs. Meanwhile, opBNB, BNB Chain’s L2, is ideal for Dapps that require high transaction frequency, such as fully on-chain games. It also offers the lowest gas fees among L2s while delivering very high performance, processing 5K-10K TPS.
