BNB Chain Builder Grant Names January Winner

The BNB Chain Builder Grant program is dedicated to providing Web3 projects with tangible support to help them reach the next level of their development. We are dedicating a regular investment of up to $500,000 every month for projects exhibiting exciting potential.

This initiative opens the door to innovative projects and teams building on, or looking to migrate to, BNB Chain – the world’s largest smart contract blockchain in terms of transaction volume and daily active users in Web3. Read about our November 2023 winners.

One dApps stole the show this month with its innovative product and ability to garner community interest and excitement. As a result of the impressive progress they have made, BNB Chain has committed to offering financial support to Nandi.

Nandi

The African Digital Art Network (ADA), an international award-winning digital platform and archive that hosts the largest digital collection of African Art globally, has launched the Nandi NFT Marketplace to bring Black art into the metaverse. Built for African and Black creators, Nandi offers the opportunity for digital media companies and independent artists to launch online fan communities. In addition to the launch of the marketplace, the Nandi Cowry Community will be created through the release of 10,000 NFTs on the Celo blockchain. Proceeds of the sale of these NFTs will fund creator fellowships, the return of African art antiquities to the community and much more.

“We are utilizing the grant to help us execute a key aspect of our roadmap which aligns incentives for creators, fans and brands through Nandi Rewards that share value created through fan engagement activity on Nandi Market and our partners. The first goal is to better test the Beta version of engagement activity rewards distributed on BNB Chain to see how we can improve the conversion of fans into creator communities at the official launch. With the help of BNB Chain, Nandi users will benefit from a robust ecosystem of tools that enable the Web3 processes to have a seamless Web2 user experience."
