Who Can Join?

This program is open to:

• Dapps deployed on the BSC/opBNB mainnet after January 1, 2023.
• Projects with an average daily active user (DAU) count of over 100 in the 30 days before the announcement.
• Projects that have undergone at least one security audit.

Prize Pool

Up to $440,000 per month is available! The prize pool is calculated as 80% of the total gas fees generated by all participants within the given period.

For example:

• If the total gas fee in September is $10,000, the bonus pool for that month will be $8,000.
• If the total gas fee in September is $10 million, the bonus pool will be capped at  $440,000

Important Notes for this Program

• To qualify for this policy, the top 15 projects must demonstrate positive growth in either incremental gas fees or incremental daily active users (DAU). The criteria are as follows:
  • Incremental Gas Fee:
    • Month 1: Average gas fee during the event minus the average gas fee from the 7 days before the announcement date on August 19th.
    • Month 2: Average gas fee during the event minus the average gas fee in the 7 days before October 1st.
    • Month 3: Average gas fee during the event minus the average gas fee in the 7 days before November 1st.
  • Incremental DAU: 
    • Month 1: Average DAU during the event minus the average DAU from the 7 days before the announcement date on August 19th.
    • Month 2: Average DAU during the event minus the average DAU in the 7 days before October 1st.
    • Month 3: Average DAU during the event minus the average DAU in the 7 days before November 1st.
  • Only projects showing an increase in either of these metrics will be eligible to benefit from this policy.
• This Gas Grant program applies to both opBNB and BSC networks. Regardless of which network the project is deployed on, it will be ranked based on these two dimensions（Gas Fee and DAU）.
• When a project is deployed on both opBNB and BSC, it will enter the competition separately for each chain, with data counted separately. If this project ranks in the top 15 on both chains, it will receive the higher-ranked award, and the lower rank will be passed to the next project. No project can receive the award twice.
• Participants only need to register once.
  • We will update the list of participants every Friday.
  • If you did not register before the competition, you can also register during the competition period and your data will be updated on Leaderboard the following week.
  • If you registered during the second contest period, unfortunately, you will not be able to participate in the first contest period.
• Reward distribution： Each month's rewards are distributed independently and will be divided into 2 parts.
  • 50% of the rewards will be distributed within 2 weeks after the end of each epoch to the BEP20 wallet address provided by the participant in the application form.
  • After the event ends, the winners need to keep their Gas Fee for one month (Gas reduction <15%), and the remaining 50% of the reward will be distributed to the project wallet address in the middle of the next natural month.
  • The BNB Chain core team will distribute rewards according to the real-time BNB token exchange rate on the distribution day.
• Leaderboard will be launched on September 5th. Data will be updated on a T+1 basis. You can check your ranking here.
• We encourage projects to use the rewards received from this program to keep building their DAU/txs/Trading vol/TVL on BNB Chain.
• The BNB Chain core team reserves the right to disqualify projects that are deemed to be using illegal bulk wallet addresses, those that are displaying attributes of market manipulation, or other fraudulent activity.
• The BNB Chain core team reserves the right in its sole discretion to amend or cancel this program at any time and for any reason without prior notice.
• Where any discrepancy arises between the translated versions and the original English version, the English version shall prevail.
