BNB Chain Revelation Summit Jam-Packed with Web3 Panels & Community Announcements

BNB Chain is excited to bring you one of the largest gatherings of blockchain enthusiasts when BNB Chain Revelation Summit, a virtual five-hour conference and major community update, takes place today, May 31, 2022, at 10 AM (UTC).

You don’t want to miss this event! The Revelation Summit will be a chance for BNB team leaders and ecosystem projects to update the community on the technical upgrades of the blockchain as we follow our key development priorities to keep building in 2022. It will also mark the Grand Finale for the Revelation Hackathon, with all winners being announced this afternoon.

BNB Chain is the most-used blockchain in crypto with more than 130 million active addresses executing 40 percent of all Layer-1 transactions. Top industry leaders will congregate at the Revelation Summit and share their expertise as we continue to advance the technologies required for our shared goal of mainstream blockchain adoption.

Today’s summit brings together more than 20 crypto industry experts who believe in the widespread adoption of blockchain technology and its ability to power the world's parallel virtual ecosystem of over 1 billion Web3 users.

There will be six panels throughout the day starting at 10:00 UTC, with the BNB Chain team kicking off proceedings with our Chief Scientist and Chief Ecosystem Pilot, followed by BNB’s Vision and Roadmap. This will be followed by panels to explore the BNB Chain Application Sidechain (BAS), the Future of Web3, our new Most Valuable Builder (MVB) program, and lastly the announcement of the winners of the six hackathon tracks from the Revelation Hackathon. The whole conference is scheduled to end at 15:00 UTC.

This is where the BNB Chain team will discuss our vision for 2022 and beyond, elaborating on our technical roadmap and providing important updates to the community. We will discuss our successes and failures to date, what we’ve learned in the 16 months since BSC’s genesis block, how we are evolving and adapting to new trends, and our goals for the future.

BNB Chain Application Sidechain (BAS)

The BNB Chain Application Sidechain (BAS) is an infrastructure introduced to help developers and node operators build and run their own blockchain as their internal value system for a massive number of users while still maintaining an instant connection to BNB Chain through Celer cBridge. The new sidechain framework enables teams aiming to build high-volume Dapps that require lightning-fast transaction speed, ultra-low fees, and BNB’s industry-leading reliability to launch their own blockchains on the BNB Chain ecosystem. Any project developer will be able to deploy their own BAS with its own unique specifications and validator set. Here we will lay out for developers what it takes to launch a sidechain on BNB Chain, what it offers to the builder community, and present the pioneering use cases for sidechains in the BNB Chain ecosystem. Winners of the Revelation Hackathon

Last but not least, BNB Chain Revelation Summit follows up on the 50-day Revelation Hackathon by announcing major community updates and the winners in six different tracks. These are Disruptive DeFi; Innovative Infra; Frontier Tech; DAOs & dCommunities; NFT, GameFi, Metaverse; and Blockchain For Good. In the hackathon, more than 200 teams of hackers competed for a top prize of $100,000 per track and over 380 BNB from community funding. After meeting the project teams, the winners will perform a live demo and discuss their projects’ implementations and the impact they would like to achieve in the industry.
