Held on April 6, the BNB Chain Super Meetup in Hong Kong gathered builders, partners, and industry leaders—including CZ, Justin Sun, and Lily Liu—for a day of insight and connection. The event featured panels on memecoins, DeFi, AI, and startup incubation, alongside CZ’s fireside chat covering BNB Chain’s evolution, builder support, and global blockchain adoption. Blog

MVB Season 9 Off-Site: Key Highlights

Held during Hong Kong Web3 Festival, BNB Chain’s MVB Season 9 Off-Site brought together 16 early-stage projects for two days of closed-door sessions, mentorship, and networking. Highlights included a fireside Q&A with CZ and Vitalik, panels on product-market fit, fundraising, and user growth, and deep dives into AI, DeFi, DePIN, and gaming. Projects will pitch during Demo Day on April 24, with YZi Labs selecting top ventures for investment. Blog

$100M Liquidity
Incentive for CEX Listings

The first and second rounds of this initiative have been announced. The projects from the first round have now received the liquidity support, and the second round is currently open for a community review.

This initiative aims to further enhance BNB Chain’s ecosystem liquidity and foster project growth by incentivizing exchanges to list native BNB Chain tokens, strengthening on-chain liquidity, and solidifying market foundations. Blog

Completed Testnet & Upcoming Lorentz Mainnet Hardfork

With the successful completion of the testnet hardforks of both opBNB & BSC, the mainnet hardfork is up next. The current speed times on the testnet are: 

• opBNB testnet - 0.5s block times 
• BSC testnet - 1.5s block times

The mainnet hardforks are due to be completed on the following dates:

• opBNB → April 21 @ 03:00 AM UTC
• BSC → April 29 @ 05:05 AM UTC
