Brand Guidelines

If you are permitted to use the BNB Chain logo or wordmarks, follow these guidelines.

Logo Guidelines

Dimensions

The vertical lockup (logomark with wordmark) should not be smaller than 70px in width. This applies to coloured and mono-coloured versions of the logo.

The horizontal lockup (logomark with wordmark) should not be smaller than 97px in width. This applies to coloured and mono-coloured versions of the logo.

Safe Space

There should always be a safe space of ‘X’ around the BNB Chain logo to ensure its legibility. The measurement of X is derived from the height of the logomark.

Usage Do’s

Logomark + Wordmark

The logomark should always be used with its wordmark whenever possible.
The horizontal lockup should always be aligned left on a page. It should never be aligned right.
The vertical lockup should always be aligned centre on a page. It should never be aligned left or right.
The logomark should only be used for these scenarios:
  • Buttons
  • Profile Picture
  • An expression for the BNB Token
  • As an Icon
The yellow logo (all variations) should always be used, wherever possible.
The mono-coloured logos should only be used if the yellow logo is used against a background colour that results in low-contrast.

Usage Dont’s

Logos cannot be altered in their shape, form or colour.
Do not add an outline to the logo.
Do not add shadows to the logo.
Do not add a gradient or change the original colours of the logo.
Do not stretch the logo beyond its original proportions.
Do not place the logo against busy backgrounds.
Do not place the logo against low-contrast backgrounds.

What projects can do

Projects must use wording like ‘Powered by,’ ‘Available on,’ ‘Building on’ BNB Chain and tag BNB Chain’s handle on socials.

Projects can add the BNB Chain logo to their website and social posts only when talking about something related to building on or being powered by BNB Chain and is solely used to identify that their project is on BNB Chain.

Projects must use the BNB Chain logo in a way that is consistent with the BNB Chain branding and not alter it in any way.

What projects should avoid

Projects must not modify the BNB Chain logo in any way.

Projects must not use the BNB Chain logo in a way that implies endorsement or sponsorship by BNB Chain. In rare circumstances, this must be approved and authorized by management.

Projects must not use the BNB Chain logo in a way that is misleading or deceptive.

Projects must not use the BNB Chain logo in a way that is defamatory to BNB Chain.

Projects must not use wording like ‘Official,’ ‘Partnering,’ ‘Collaborating’ with BNB Chain unless cleared by management.

Expectations from Projects

Projects should seek approval from BNB Chain before using the logo.

Projects need to send the proposed way they wish to use the logo and explain how it will be distributed.

Projects should use the BNB Chain logo in an appropriate and respectful way while ensuring that they abide by intellectual property laws.

Projects should not use the BNB Chain logo in a way that implies endorsement or sponsorship - in special cases, seek approval from PR and it will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

If projects are given approval to use the BNB Chain logo, its usage must reflect positively on both BNB Chain and the project.

Projects should follow branding guidelines to ensure consistency across all material.

For some cases, there will be an assessment on a case-by-case basis as it can be dependent on a variety of factors which need to be tailored to specific projects and business requirements.
