This Privacy Policy describes how BNB Chain Innovation Limited (“BNB Chain Innovation”) collects and processes your personal information through the BNB Chain Innovation websites and applications that reference this Privacy Notice. BNB Chain Innovation refers to an ecosystem comprising BNB Chain Innovation websites (whose domain names include but are not limited to bnbchain.org), mobile applications, clients, applets and other applications that may be developed to offer BNB Beacon Chain Innovation Services, and includes applications operating on BNB Chain Innovation (e.g., BNB Chain Extension Wallet), (jointly referred to as the “Websites”). By interacting with or using BNB Chain Innovation Websites, you are aware of the collection, storage, processing and transfer of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Please note that the Websites is only an interface for the community of users and developers (the “Community”). BNB Chain is the generic name given to any blockchains that use BNB cryptocurrency as the native token and consists of public, decentralized and permissionless blockchains. We do not and cannot control activity and data on the BNB Chain or the activities that Community participants may develop using BNB Chain. Decisions are not made by a single entity, but by the participants of the Community.

Our Services (meaning any of the services, functions, features or content made available on or through the Websites), are offered through one or more subsidiaries and affiliates of BNB Chain Innovation Limited. You understand that your personal information may be processed by one or more of those entities, each as the Data Controller for personal information collected and processed in connection with provision of BNB Chain Innovation Services.

1. What Personal Information Does BNB Chain Innovation Collect?

When you visit our Websites or use one or more of our Services, we may collect:

Information you give us

We receive and store any information you provide in relation to BNB Chain Innovation. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to use some BNB Chain Innovation Services. Examples of information that you give us include:

• Social Media accounts - we may use plug-ins from social networks such as LinkedIn, Telegram/Discord Username, Twitter, and GitHub. • Wallet Address - using our Services may require you to connect a wallet. The wallet that you connect to use our Services may be used across the BNB Chain ecosystem.
• To access our forums, such as Build N Build Forum, you must set up an account and provide us with your username, e-mail address and password.

Automatically Collected information

We automatically collect and store certain types of information about your use of BNB Chain Innovation Services including your interaction with content and services available through BNB Chain Innovation Services. Like many websites, we use cookies and other unique identifiers and we obtain certain types of information when your web browser or device accesses BNB Chain Innovation Websites. The information/data mentioned is neither assigned to specific persons nor linked to data from other sources. Examples of the information we collect and analyze include:

Event Registration Data

Information that allows you to register and participate in any event organized by the BNB Chain Innovation, (such as Hackathons, classes and lectures, etc.) through our websites or websites of our third-party providers, in addition to the above, we may require the following registration data:

• University / College Affiliation
• Company / Association
• Resume / CV
• Image
• Projects detail, pitch decks, or whitepapers that may include personal information

We may use this information as well as other information you voluntarily provide (e.g. preferences, comments, dietary preferences) in order to execute our agreement or to check your eligibility, to enable your participation, and to provide you a better experience in the event. When necessary, we may ask for your consent to process your personal information for a specific purpose that we communicate to you.

2. For What Purposes Does BNB Chain Innovation Process My Personal Information?

• Provide, troubleshoot, and improve BNB Chain Innovation Services. We use your personal information to provide functionality, analyse performance, fix errors, and improve the usability and effectiveness of BNB Chain Innovation Services.
• Recommendations and personalisation. We use your personal information to recommend features and services that might be of interest to you, identify your preferences, and personalise your experience with BNB Chain Innovation Services.

4. Does BNB Chain Innovation Share My Personal Information?

BNB Chain Innovation shares users' personal information only as described below and with the subsidiaries or affiliates of BNB Chain Innovation that are either subject to this Privacy Notice or follow practices at least as protective as those described in this Privacy Notice.

Third party service providers: We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include analysing data, providing marketing assistance, processing payments and transmitting content. Business transfers: As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy other businesses or services. In such transactions, user information generally is one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Notice (unless, of course, the user consents otherwise). Also, in the unlikely event that BNB Chain Innovation or substantially all of its assets are acquired, user information will be one of the transferred assets.

• Right to access: you have the right to obtain confirmation that your Data are processed and to obtain a copy of it as well as certain information related to its processing;
• Right to rectify: you can request the rectification of your Data which are inaccurate, and also add to it.
• Right to delete: you can, in some cases, have your Data deleted;
• Right to object: you can object, for reasons relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your Data. For instance, you have the right to object to commercial communications;
• Right to limit the processing: in certain circumstances, you have the right to limit the processing of your Data;
• Right to portability: in some cases, you can ask to receive your Data which you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or, when this is possible, that we communicate your Data on your behalf directly to another data controller;
• Right to withdraw your consent: for processing requiring your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Exercising this right does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the withdrawal of the latter;
• Right to define the instructions relating to the use of your personal data post mortem: you have the right to define instructions relating to the retention, deletion and communication of your Data after your death;

We keep your personal information to enable your continued use of BNB Chain Innovation Services, for as long as it is required in order to fulfill the relevant purposes described in this Privacy Notice, where relevant, as may be required by law or as otherwise communicated to you.

11. Can Children Use BNB Chain Innovation Services?

BNB Chain Innovation does not allow minors to use BNB Chain Innovation Services and does not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

12. Conditions of Use, Notices and Revisions

If you choose to use BNB Chain Innovation Services, your use and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Policy and our Terms of Use. If you have any concerns about privacy at BNB Chain Innovation, please contact us with a thorough description, and we will try to resolve it. You also have the right to contact your local Data Protection Authority.

Our business changes constantly, and our Privacy Policy will change also. You should check our websites frequently to see recent changes. If you do not agree with the revised content, you shall stop accessing BNB Chain Innovation immediately. When an updated version of the Privacy Policy is released, your continued access to BNB Chain Innovation means that you agree to the updated content and agree to abide by the updated Privacy Policy. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Policy applies to all information that we have about you and your account.
