BNB Greenfield Content Contest Now Live

At BNB Chain, we are dedicated to fostering a vibrant community that empowers developers to create innovative solutions that improve the Web3 experience. To achieve this, we are thrilled to announce the BNB Greenfield Content Contest as one of our ecosystem bounties on BNB Greenfield. This initiative invites developers and technology enthusiasts to discuss various challenges and solutions in the decentralized storage space, as well as the requirements for the ultimate storage infrastructure that will serve the next billion users in Web3.

Through this challenge, we aim to inspire and reward technical writers, developers and data storage enthusiasts who continuously strive to make the world a better place with their contributions.

The BNB Greenfield Content Challenge begins on April 14th, 2023, and is open to everyone (find detailed rules below), taking place entirely online. We encourage developers and tech leaders working on cutting-edge technologies in the decentralized storage space to participate and share their insights.

The challenge will run from April 14th to June 19th, 2023. To participate, please apply here.

Experienced writers, developers, and cloud architects with expertise in decentralized storage and data ownership are invited to participate in the challenge.

Upon approval, selected participants will have until May 5th to create a research-oriented article that fulfils the following requirements.

Eligibility

The campaign is open to all members of the community who are interested in blockchain technology and meet the specified requirements.We are seeking writers with a strong background in data storage, cloud storage, and decentralized data storage solutions. If you have expertise in these areas, we encourage you to take part in the challenge

Theme and Keywords

1. BNBChain, BNBGreenfield, Decentralized Storage, Cloud Storage, Web3, Blockchain, Storage Providers, Web2 Storage, Data Ownership, Data Security, Data Programmability New Data Economy
2. We encourage writers to incorporate mentions of BNB Greenfield in creative and innovative ways within their submissions. Bonus points will be awarded to those who are able to seamlessly integrate BNB Greenfield into their story in a unique and engaging manner.
3. Central theme is BNB Greenfield -  White Paper and Testnet

Format

Articles should be in a long form article - thesis, Greenfield tutorials, or whitepapers. Authors are encouraged to choose a format that best suits their content and audience. If images, diagrams, or other visual aids are included, they should be original or properly attributed.

Word Count

Articles should be at least 2500 words long (no max limit).

Originality

Articles must be original and not copied from other sources. Plagiarism will result in disqualification from the campaign. Authors should provide proper citations and references for any external sources they use, if applicable.

Quality, Structure & Resources

1. Structure: A well-structured article with a concise overview, including use cases and examples
2. Depth of insight: A clear thesis statement, followed by a thorough analysis, concrete examples, and a robust defense of the arguments. Participants are encouraged to share their unique insights, research findings, practical tips, and best practices related to blockchain technology. Original perspectives, case studies, and real-world examples are highly valued.
3. Voice and engagement: A unique, engaging author's voice with strong convictions, opinions
4. Utilize the Greenfield Whitepaper, testnet information and documentation as a valuable resource for your research, and share your feedback with the community by providing your input on Github. If you have any additional insights or contributions to add, feel free to update the Greenfield Github repo which will give you bonus points.

Rights

By submitting an article, authors grant permission to BNB Chain to publish and promote their articles on relevant platforms.

We will be awarding three winners to the top submissions.The winners will receive their prize in the form of BNB tokens.

Submission

To enter the competition, writers (once assigned on Dework) must login and submit their articles on the BNBChainDEV platform. Submit your blog post with the tag #BNBGreenfield.

The BNB Chain core team will evaluate the submitted content based on the overall quality of the content. Three winners will be announced based on these criteria.

Prizes

• Three winners get $300 USD each, a chance to become a contributor on BNBChainDEV platform, and expedited access to apply for our tech martian program
• In addition, if any of the authors are key industry leaders, have a channel or profile with over 50,000 followers or subscribers, they will receive fast-track access to become a BNB Chain tech KOL. This allows them to continue creating content for the BNB Chain community and receive various rewards

Timeline

• April 14th - April 27 - Registration & Approval Window (BNB Chain team will assign the write up to the selected profiles from the pool of applicants.)
• April 14th to May 5th: Writing window - Once assigned on Dework, writers can immediately begin creating and submitting their content.
• May 5th to May 23rd: Review window - Post articles on the BNBChainDEV platform. Upload all articles by 23rd May.
• May 29th: 3 Winners announced
• June 19th: Prizes disbursed
